Fatlace > Us.
We’ve got people sending in pics of their tees to win some grubby prize as a part our Shirt Tales Contest.
These fools got porn chicks, like Renee Richards, taking snapshots in vintage hip-hop tees as a part of their Freaky Fridays.
If they weren’t Rawkus fam, I’d be extremely jealous and probably sending viruses to all the available email addy’s I could find on their site. But since they are our e-cousins, we feel proud to be associated with such an endeavor.
I guess the only thing we’ve got over them as a part of our prizing & the participation level thus far (Ex. – we’ve got pics of a half-eaten Talib Kweli birthday cake, a variety of pics of rare vinyl, etc.). Going a step further and to up the ante, we’re going to offer a gift certificate to shop online @ www.mooseshirts.com or www.thegiantpeach.com/ to cop yourself some new gear for showing us your old gear.
So enter our Shirt Tales Contest today for your chance to win.
But man what I wouldn’t give for some porn chicks…

Papoose – You Mad (Produced by Sha Money XL)
Papoose – Tough Love
Papoose – Law Library Part 4
— There’s a whole lot going on all of the sudden for Pap. He & Slay have spoken unabashedly about his departure from Jive. There’s always been a certain part of me pulling for cats like Pap and Sai to blow, even if we know they won’t. It’s even stronger with Pap because with tracks like “Law Library” he shows he’s got a humble nature laced with a sense of intelligence. A good thing about it all is I expect to see alot more material released from Pap now to help big his buzz back up although I don’t think “U Mad” or “Tough Love” are going to strengthen his case.
Boyz N Da Hood Ft. Yung Joc – Nothing Is Promised
— Not good. Not bad. There’s a gritty, dark depth to it. “I got a A-K in the seat & a Bible on the dash…”
JoJo Pellegrino – I Love New York
— The rock has been moved & Lazarus rises from the dead. This might not get too much repeat action but it’s good to hear JoJo back on the block. His voice sounds a little more mature.
Sean Paul of YoungBloodz Feat Jr. Reid – Good Look (Prod. Scott Storch)
Britney Spears – Break The Ice (Prod By Timbaland)
— *deleted from playlist*
Kanye West Ft. Trick Daddy – I Can’t Say No
— The decision to leave this off this album was obviously not that difficult. The sample is too Fischer-Price & ‘Ye sounds prepubescent beside a growling Trick.
Crooked I – Hip Hop Weekly 25 (Imagine Freestyle)
— I’m liking this dude more and more as these Weekly’s keep piling up.
Styles P Ft. Swizz Beats – Blow My Mind
— Well…It is almost the weekend & I’ve been liking Styles & Sheek alot recently so I won’t bash this track.
J. Holiday – Suffocate
— Put a chick in the whip & have a nice quiet convo about vacations & nice restaurants. Eventually, I’m going to type some words about son’s Chocolate City mixtape because it was actually listenable.
