Tracy Morgan’s far from being okay after surviving last week’s horrible crash. But while still critical, the comedian’s condition is stable and improving, according to a statement released by his publicist.
“Today was a better day. While Tracy remains in critical, but stable, condition, he continues to show signs of improvement. His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing,”
Morgan’s injuries from the crash are many. He suffered a broken leg, nose and ribs and is expected to remain hospitalized for several weeks.
Meanwhile, Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges that include vehicular homicide and assault by auto. Earlier, a Walmart spokesperson said the company believed Roper was operating within federal rest guidelines for truck drivers, a mandate that states they work no more than 14 hours for any shift — 11 of those driving. The company said it would take full responsibility if the investigation shows its truck was to blame.
