Watch Tyga’s Lavish Video For ’40 Mill’

We aren’t sure whose underage sister you have to extort to get a track produced by Mike Dean and Kanye West but T-Raw seems to have it all figured out this year.

After landing over a dozen features from Chris Brown for the disjointed Fan of a Fan album, Tyga continues his surprising run with “40 Mill” off The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. Using the enormous soundbed provided by his Calabasas neighbours, Cash Money’s castaway insists he cares only about the financial assets – “I don’t want to be famous, I just want to be rich, 40 mill with some acres, makeup for my b*tch…” he raps – and not the flashing bulbs associated with fame.

Is an unlimited supply of candy apple lip gloss or whatever flavor teenage girls are into these days for his boo too much to ask? Californian legalities aside, the visuals for the clip are surreal.

Hyped with drone shots, Molotov cocktails and flash mobs on Fairfax, nobody can accuse the Young Kings owner of not putting on for his city. Standing on the rooftop at Melrose and Fairfax, Tyga performs to a cavalcade of million dollar automobiles and adoring fans below before taking it back to the mansions and Pentagram-inspired churches filled with models. Simply put – the song and video slap.

Despite the constant shade parade that follows him around, the kid knows how to pick beats, craft catchy records and make dope visuals. If we let Rozay get a pass based on the same criteria, could 2015 be a step change annum for the Jenner’s most platonic neighbor?
