Wale To Complex Staff: “I’ll Come To That Office And Start Knocking N****s The F*** Out”

Dear artists,

It’s only a review/list/words on a page, so don’t take it so seriously.

That’s a message someone should impart to Wale after he spazzed all the way out on Complex’s staff. Folarin was absolutely pissed his album didn’t make their ” The 50 Best Albums of 2013″ and felt as if he was being shunned for reasons greater than just the music. As such, he called up the editor to voice his frustration, which can be heard in the player above. But, cut the volume down because the anger is high. In fact, it’s like that time he tried to fight the basketball announcer on 10.

“You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine?”

“I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n****s the fuck out”

“Respect me dog. Respect me dog.”

“I’ll see y’all tomorrow. Get the security ready.”

To Wale specifically, it’s not that serious.

Complex does a thousand lists…per week. If you didn’t make this one, they’ll surely get you on the next one, so cheer up. Or it could just be that Complex doesn’t fuck with you musically. *rimshot* If that’s the case, focus your energy on fostering stronger relationships with the outlets that do support you.

Realistically, I bet this is just a wrestling ploy by Wale akin to what Nipsey Hussle did. He set himself up as being overlooked by Complex, eventually an olive branch was extended and, boom, Nipsey’s doing an interview with them. Worked like a charm.

To all artist in general, let’s restate this: it’s only a review, which is nothing more than an opinion on your work. The proper or at least response would be to criticize the outlets work instead of threatening them.

Somebody make sure Krondon gets the message , too, please. He needs to hear it since he was completely agitated with our capsule review of his latest project.
