When Kanye West debuted The Life of Pablo at Yeezy Season 3 and “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 2” played, a seemingly familiar voice kicked off the second verse by rapping about “broads in Atlanta” and “twisting dope, lean, and the Fanta.” Given the lyrical content and signature warble reminiscent of Future Hendrix, many people assumed they were listening to everyone’s favorite Atlanta trapper-rapper, but they were mistaken.

Instead, the verse was the mainstream introduction of G.O.O.D Music’s newest signee, Desiigner, whose current single, “Panda,” has blown up on SoundCloud and YouTube with almost 3.5 million plays combined. Much like his remix of Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like,” Yeezy interpolated the hook from “Panda” for Desiigner’s first of two TLOP features.
