Young Buck is taking full advantage of the increased attention coming his way after 50 Cent reunited G-Unit last summer. The Nashville rapper has dropped two mixtapes since then, including the recently released 10 Bullets, and become Taylor Swift’s favorite rapper. Now, he’s writing a book.
With the help of Resource Printing, Buck planning to publish a memoir called Behind The Wall about his 18-month stint in prison for weapons charges back in 2012. According to the company’s press release, he’s telling his story in hopes of inspiring others.
Buck is looking forward to telling the story behind the music. “I’m excited about teaming up with Resource Ventures for this printing of my book,” he explains. “I know I have a lot to share with my fans and I can offer an interesting story that has different parts many people can relate to and parts that some folks won’t understand at all but will hopefully find fascinating. I think the quality of Resource Ventures’ past work speaks volumes. Stay tuned, we’re on our way to a New York Times Best Seller.”
There’s no release date yet, as Resource simply notes the book is “coming soon.” Buck is looking to follow in the footsteps of his G-Unit boss 50 Cent, who hit the Times best sellers list back in 2009 with his book, 50th Law.
