They finally let the Snowman out of jail on Thursday night. After being arrested on Sunday when police allegedly found an AK-47 on his tour bus, Jeezy posted bail for himself and others. Per Billboard:
“The word comes from Steve Carless, President of Young Jeezy’s label, CTE, and A&R at Atlantic Records, who said despite reports of an extended legal stay, Jeezy will be a free man tonight.
“‘Young Jeezy has posted bail for all six people [that were arrested]. He will be released tonight in the next hour or so,” said Carless, calling from Los Angeles. He added, “A full statement is coming soon.'”
The brother who once won Trapper Of The Year four times in a row was being held for $1 million bail.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, Jeezy pleaded not guilty to possession of an illegal assault weapon. He’s due back in court on Friday, September 5, while his new album Seen It All: The Autobiography releases next Tuesday, September 2.
