On a regular day, Julie or Tins would be the ones to pick up a Young Scooter track for sharing. His nasally tone never really does much for my tastes. But, in an effort to combat recidivism, I wanted to put his newest release, “Rap Game,” up for anyone who wanted to help me fight the battle. See, Scooter did his time and now he’s back home, trying to make music work for him as a legal hustle. If putting this song up keeps him from falling back into the trap, then ultimately a jail cell, so be it.
“Rap game fake, I don’t see no competition, How I feel right now, I’m the realest aggin in it.”
On “Rap Game,” Scooter talks smack, saying he has no competition yada ya. While I don’t necessarily agree with him*, nobody’s hurt and we’re all better by listening. I guess. Anyways, Street Lottery 2 is currently set for January 1, 2014, followed by his Jugg House album to be released next year. Both are contingent upon Scooter being able to stay free long enough to see his plans through.
* — He must not of heard Bronson’s Blue Chips 2 because that guy goes willy-nilly with bars. Shit’s impressive in an otherwise slow seven days in rap.
