Yung Ralph Releases His Young Thug Collab, ‘Bands,’ To Get Fans Ready For His ‘I Am Juugman’ Mixtape

When an artist suffers as many leaks as Young Thug, there’s bound to be some collateral damage. Take for instance, Yung Ralph, who probably flipped when a song he intended to use as a single leaked way back in May among a massive batch of Thugger songs.

Undeterred, Ralph decided to drop “Bands,” featuring Thug and produced by London On Da Track, as a single in the lead up to his mixtape I Am Juugman anyway. You have to feel for Ralph because not only is “Bands” a solid track, but he undoubtedly paid some form of currency for the guest verse and production.

Thug has released plenty of his leaked tracks on his own accord as well, either as remixed versions or tracks that were exactly the same as the leaked versions. It sucks, but Thug’s engineer Alex Tumay mentioned before that they won’t let leaks get in the way of their planned releases.

Yung Ralph’s I Am Juugman drops December 8th.
