Proof that there are lies, damn lies, and statistics: a new study claims that the Super Bowl hurt America's image of Miami. Even Detroit and Jacksonville came out with better results. This is staggering to me.
For me, Miami was a parade of flesh and free booze. Perhaps it was a bit shallow, but it had style and energy. And sure, it rained for the big game, but at the time it was 12 degrees (I think Fahrenheit, though possibly Kelvin) where I live in New York. I left the city with a resoundingly positive image of the city — even after staying two nights in Little Havana.
So, people of America, please observe this video that I captured during my Saturday afternoon in Miami, and reconsider. Where words fail me, hot asses shaking prevail.
