Brandon Merriweather May Or May Not Have Shot Two People

New England Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather has been accused of shooting two people in his native twon of Apopka, Florida. Meriweather allegedly shot the two men after Meriweather’s friend allegedly beat up the sister of one of the two men in an establishment called the Blue Jeans Lounge. Wow, that sounds a lot worse than wearing a woman’s headband.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office records list Nico Stanley, 23, and Quentin Taylor, 24, as victims in the Feb. 28 shooting on W. 17th Street and S. Central Avenue in Apopka.

No charges have been filed in the shooting. The Sheriff’s Office is expected to release more information about the case later this afternoon.

The Patriots nor Meriweather had comment. Meriweather had a terrific season with the Patriots in 2010, so much so that he reach a million dollar’s worth of escalators in his contract, which expires after 2011. But a million dollars isn’t cool. You know what’s cool? A billion dollars. I’m presuming that helmet-to-helmet hits and attempted double homicide falls somewhere in between.
