With Leather’s Watch This: Hank Azaria Read The Dodgers Lineup In Simpsons Voices

By / 06.10.13

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had some new swagger added to their otherwise fart noise of a season by the incredibly exciting Yasiel Puig, but they’re still in last place in the National League West, 7.5 games out of first place. But if you ask me, having Hank Azaria show up and read the starting lineup as Moe, Apu and Chief Wiggum from The Simpsons should at least buy the team a few extra wins. No team is going to top that this season, short of Jon Hamm showing up to a Cardinals game to let his bulge read the lineup.

You’d watch. You know you’d watch.

NCAA Baseball Super Regionals

No. 1 UNC vs. No. 4 South Carolina – 7 PM ET on ESPN 2

No. 3 Oregon State vs. K. State – 10 PM ET on ESPN 2

I was reading up on the results of the Major League Baseball Draft, because there’s no way in hell I’m watching that thing live, and I found myself asking a very interesting question: What’s more important to you – your Major League team getting a good prospect who can learn from great coaches in the team’s farm system, which is currently considered one of (if not) the best in baseball, or your college team signing that same prospect so he can contribute to a program in need of depth while getting a good education?

Basically, the St. Louis Cardinals drafted Ian McKinney out of Orlando’s Boone High School and he was signed to play for UCF. Now I’m torn, because on one hand I’d like to see UCF get better, but on the other I want the Cards to have a deep farm system. But I also know that none of you care about this, so here’s a fun GIF for you:

MLB: Red Sox at Rays – 7 PM ET on ESPN

I mean, I’d prefer an NBA or NHL playoff game, but sprots is sprots.

Here’s another random question: Do you think the ratings are down for the NBA Playoffs because people don’t want to watch the Spurs (as some people have tried to explain it) or because people are sick of the Miami Heat being so good and they’ve just settled with the fact that the Heat were going to win from the start? I think it’s probably 60/40 at this point.

WWE Monday Night Raw – 8 PM ET on USA

On tonight’s show, I predict that John Cena and Ryback will face off in a cage match, in which a briefcase containing a brand new personality will hang from the top of the cage. The winner gets the personality, but will just stare at it and ask, “What does this do?”
