On one hand, the Nashville Predators just became my favorite sports team in the world for this awesome holiday song that they recorded for their fans. Not only does it feature a song from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but it also has guitar with five necks, and that’s exactly what I asked Santa for this Christmas. Sadly, I have a feeling that it’s just going to wind up “lost” like all of the other instruments I’ve wanted to play, including a keytar and a magical triangle that makes Jennifer Lawrence fall in love with me.
On the other hand, I’m a little mad at the Preds because they didn’t make their video embeddable, so you have to click here and go watch the video on their site. I mean, what kind of jerk sports team tries to drive traffic to its own website?
NBA: Heat at Cavaliers – 7:30 PM ET
Now that a lot of Cavs fans think that they might be able to lure LeBron James back in a season or two, do they still do him relentlessly or do they cheer for the hometown boy and hope he falls for it? I say they cheer him and then everyone boos Dwight Howard wherever he is.
NHL: Bruins at Red Wings – 7:30 PM ET on NBC Sports
Where’s your awesome holiday video for your fans, Red Wings? That’s right, you don’t celebrate the holidays because you’re Satan’s team.
NCAA Basketball: Drexel vs. Arizona – 7 PM ET on ESPNU
NCAA Basketball: Maui Invitational – 7:30 PM ET on ESPN2
NCAA Basketball: Alabama vs. Duke – 9:30 PM ET on ESPN2
I’ll probably watch Jabari Parker and Duke play tonight while I finish stretching out my pants for tomorrow. Size 40, HERE WE COME!
