The Phoenix Suns Gave Gerald Green's 41-Point Game The NBA Jam Treatment

Way back on March 6, Phoenix Suns guard Gerald Green set a career-high in points with an incredible 41-point performance in a 128-122 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Green’s the kind of player that people have been down on, perhaps labeling him a bust, as he’s never really lived up to his hype since being drafted out of high school by the Boston Celtics in the 2005 NBA Draft. But the Suns seem to have been a nice fit for him, now that he’s putting up the best numbers of his career and the team is currently 10-games over .500 after last season’s awful 25-57 campaign. Of course, they’re still a game out of the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference, while they’d be the No. 3 seed in the East. Amazing.

To celebrate that 41-point performance, though, the Suns created this wonderful NBA Jam video. In all seriousness, the NBA should replay old games completely re-edited in this style. And they’d let Brian Scalabrine call them.
