Tennessee's Josh Richardson Got The NCAA Tournament Dunk Party Started Early

The Tennessee Volunteers didn’t have the easiest time of their lives in beating the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA Tournament’s play-in battle of the 11-seeds, at least not until overtime began. But with about 10 minutes left in the game, the Vols were trailing by 5 and Josh Richardson not only provided a much-needed basket but also a ton of energy for his teammates on a rather emphatic slam dunk. Poor Mike Gesell could only jump in the air and pretend like he was going to stop Richardson’s baseline attack.

Bonus points to both Richardson and the Tennessee bench for the over-the-top reactions to the dunk, but double bonus points to the Vols for holding Iowa to one whole point in OT.
