Donald Sterling’s Wife Paints Quite The Gold-Digging Picture Of His Mistress

The Los Angeles Clippers, amid intense controversy over owner Donald Sterling’s racist comments in what is now being reported as at least 60 minutes of conversation with his “girlfriend” V. Stiviano, still had a playoff basketball game to play yesterday, and while the players displayed their unity before the game began by wearing their warm-up shirts inside out, they’d go on to lose 118-97 to the Golden State Warriors. I just wanted to catch everyone up on the score, since all anyone can talk about regarding the NBA right now is Sterling and this mysterious mistress.

Stiviano, it turns out, is being sued by Sterling’s estranged wife, Rochelle Sterling, who filed the lawsuit on March 7 to attempt to retrieve more than $1.8 million that the young model was given by the Clippers owner during their four year “relationship.” According to the Los Angeles Times, Donald showered Stiviano with ridiculous gifts that basically redefine the way that we look at a sugar daddy and his gold-digger.

Rochelle Sterling alleges that her husband used community property to buy Stiviano a 2012 Ferrari, two Bentleys and a 2013 Range Rover, worth a total of more than $500,0000.

Sterling also allegedly gave Stiviano $1.8 million to buy a duplex on West 4th Street near the Beverly Center last December, according to the suit, which claims that Sterling additionally provided her with $240,000 for upkeep and living expenses.

The property was supposed to be held in the Sterlings’ name, Rochelle Sterling contends, but Stiviano has title and has refused to relinquish it. Arguing that the gifts were all allegedly made without Rochelle Sterling’s knowledge or consent, the complaint seeks their return along with compensatory damages. (Via the L.A. Times)

This is where that whole “get even” aspect of the recent release of the audio of the conversation between Donald and Stiviano comes into play. While Stiviano’s lawyer claims that she didn’t leak the audio to TMZ and Deadspin, it’s pretty clear what is going on here. This is basically the story of a girl who will do anything to keep the Ferrari, Bentleys, Range Rover and property that a really pathetic, desperate and sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad old man gave to her so she’d sit next to him at some basketball games. We can only hope that justice prevails in this lawsuit, as soon as we figure out whose side justice should be on.
