I know nothing about crew or rowing and let’s be honest neither do you. But I can spot a good blooper video a mile away and HOLY HELL, what is going on here?! From start to finish, this race (Snowflake Regatta in NY) is complete nonsense, with girls crashing into each other, falling out of the boat, hitting the dock—all the while parents are screaming about how awful everything is.
The best moment comes when two teams collide in the middle of the course and one irate mom screams “A$$HOLES, YOU RUINED IT FOR THEM!”
And I’m dead. Like I had to pause the video right there to recover. Who knew rowing could be so damn entertaining?
