Here’s Reggie Miller Absolutely Trashing Kobe Bryant In An Interview

“Michael Jordan on his worst day is ten times better than Kobe Bryant on his best day.”

-Reggie Miller

Ok, we get it, Michael Jordan was super good at basketball. We know. We’re constantly reminded about it everyday. But serving up a poop sundae like “Michael Jordan on his worst day is ten times better than Kobe Bryant on his best day” is just nonsense. It screams attention whore. It screams “hey everyone, look at me” while doing naked cartwheels on a beach. “Look at my dingaling people, look at it!”

Michael Jordan is better than Kobe Bryant. Sure. Nobody’s debating that fact. But Jordan laid some serious stinkers in the past, trust me, I saw it in person. Sorry it didn’t happen in the internet age guys. Sorry we couldn’t make GIFs of him sulking against the Pistons in the late 80s…because yeah, that happened. He wasn’t perfect. He lost some games he shouldn’t have. He turned the ball over at crucial times, he bricked some shots, he played bad defense.

In short, he was human, he made mistakes.

And you gotta love how Reggie Miller prefaced his comments with “that’s not short-changing Kobe at at all because he handed me my lunch pail.” That’s like people who say “no offense, but you’re kinda fat and ugly.” As if saying no offense clears them of being a giant a-hole.

Perhaps, and I don’t know, just spitballin’ here, you’re upset because Kobe beat you up in 2002. Maybe?
