On Monday night, LeBron James put his arm around Kate Middleton for a picture following their game against the Nets. Everyone flipped out about it and our friends across the pond got their knickers in a bunch because someone dared touch Princess Kate with a sweaty arm. A Royal etiquette blowhard named William Hanson delivered a scathing rebuke of King James in the Daily Mail.
“Although I am sure the Duchess of Cambridge won’t have worried about it, Mr. James should not have put his arm around her. Americans are much more tactile than we Brits and this is another example of an American being too touchy feely with British royalty. You’d have thought they’d have learned by now.”
Keith Olbermann does a fine job destroying Mr. Hanson in the video and nothing more really needs to be said. Ok fine, allow me to add my two cents.
