Over the weekend FOX 2 Detroit did a segment about Warren De La Salle, a Catholic high school playing for the state championship in football. It was lighthearted and goofy, pretty much everything we love about local news. The segment included interviews with coaches and parents who were more than thrilled for the kids and the opportunity to play at Ford Field (home of the Detroit Lions).

Towards the end of the clip, reporter Charlie Langton headed to the De La Salle locker room to get some sound bytes from players. That’s when this happened.

De La Salle went on to win their first state championship, all because Jah’wuan Nelson got his swagger back just in time.
