There is no element of surprise when it comes to Super Bowl commercials anymore. The latest teaser for a sports game commercial comes to us from Nationwide, and we can at least thank the heavens that it doesn’t involve Peyton Manning singing a jingle. Seriously, we don’t give a crap about his chicken parm anymore. Instead, Mindy Kaling is the celebrity face of Nationwide’s new Super Bowl XLIX ad campaign, while Julia Roberts remains the soothing voice making something as simple as insurance sound almost poetic.
So why does Kaling think she’s suddenly invisible enough to get naked in the middle of a park? That’s why we have to watch the Super Bowl. The suspense is practically killing me!
