Either Bob Arum’s out of his mind or he knows something the rest of us don’t. On Tuesday, the boxing promoter told Yahoo Sports that Manny Pacquaio had agreed to terms for a fight on May 2nd with Floyd Mayweather. Arum also said “Mayweather’s people” are on board.

The only thing missing?

Floyd Mayweather, who has yet to give his stamp of approval.

The sources told Yahoo Sports that not only have the sides agreed for the fight to be May 2 at the MGM, but also on a 60/40 purse split that would favor Mayweather. Mayweather could make in the range of $120 million. An MGM spokesman told Yahoo Sports that there was no deal for the fight to be held at the Grand Garden as far as he is aware.

Last we heard, that was the split Mayweather was looking for. So maybe, maybe, this is going to happen guys. Maybe we’re finally going to get the fight we all wanted five goddamn years ago. What a shame.

Oh and to make this happen, to make it so Floyd Mayweather adds another 50 cars to his collection, tickets will be outrageously priced.

In order to pay the astronomical salaries the fighters will command, ticket prices will be scaled at an all-time high. The top ticket at the MGM Grand Garden is expected to go for $5,000 so that the arena can be scaled to produce a $40 million live gate.

A $40 million live gate would be virtually double the existing record gate of $20,003,150, which was set at the MGM in 2013 by Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez.

I’m going to watch this fight because I’m an idiot who loves boxing. But seriously, f-ck everyone involved here. F-ck Arum and Mayweather for being greedy bastards and f-ck Manny for not agreeing to a drug test four years ago.

I hate you all.
