The Miami Heat Forgot How To Play Basketball Last Night And It Led To This Moronic Turnover

The game of basketball is pretty straightforward. Put the ball in the hoop—stop the other team from putting the ball in the hoop.

Sure there are confusing aspects of the game, little nuggets that sometimes befuddle the professionals. Take, for example, this play during last night’s Miami Heat game. Generally, after a made basket, one player inbounds the ball to another player. But you see, point guard Norris Cole wanted to do something different, he wanted to inbound the ball twice on the same possession.

As it turns out, you can’t inbound the ball twice on the same possession.

The Heat went on to lose the game.
