Just a few days removed from her epic 14 second win at UFC 184, Sports Illustrated has released some new Swimsuit Edition videos featuring Ronda Rousey. Every year SI handpicks a few athletes to include amongst the bevy of supermodels in their annual swimsuit issue, and this year that was Ronda and Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.

Here’s Ronda’s video, which not only shows off some of the shoots but Rowdy’s positive attitude regarding an institution John Oliver recently lambasted as a sexist relic of the past:

“When I got the call about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition I was like OH MY GOD! [Gibberish] I don’t even think I was speaking english I was just shouting and shaking. And I didn’t have a moment’s hesitation. I was just so happy to have this opportunity because I really do beleive that there shouldn’t just be one cookie cutter body type that everyone is aspiring to be. And I guess I’m the first MMA fighter to be a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model!”

“I hope that the impression that everyone that sees the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is that strong and healthy is the new sexy. And that the standard of women’s bodies is going in a realistic and socially healthy direction.”

This video takes us behind the scenes of the Captiva Island photo shoot, where the theme was ‘Black & White’ – Rousey unsurprisingly representing black while Wozniacki wore white. If you’ve been dealing with way too much white yourself in the form of this never-ending winter, this video is just the thing to perk you back up.

And what post would be complete without at least a few photos of Ronda Rousey from the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? Visit the official website here for more.
