It’s very possible that, just like Trick Daddy, Cam Newton loves the kids. He’s done cute and funny commercials with them, and now he’s taking adorable photos with some of his biggest smallest fans.
Newton made his way to his old stomping grounds, Westlake High School in Atlanta, to kick off his annual 7 v 7 high school tournament. The series is put on by the Cam Newton Foundation, and has stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Birmingham throughout the summer.
On Friday the tournament had a very special attendee. No, not anyone on the Atlanta Hawks, or Braves, or Falcons, but a young fan of Newton’s rocking a Superman shirt and doing the famous Superman pose.
It was adorable, and my heart melted when I saw the photo. Ok that’s lie. I was mostly thinking about how the young fan would probably make a better blocker for Newton next season than Michael Oher or Jonathan Martin.
