The Stanley Cup Playoffs’ Conference Finals are underway this weekend, and, for the second-straight season, the New York Rangers will be vying for a spot in the Cup Final. Fans of the Blueshirts are riding high after the Rangers — winners of this season’s Presidents’ Trophy — came out on top in an epic seven-game series against the Capitals that was ultimately decided by a dramatic overtime-winner off the stick of Derek Stepan.

One fan decided to roll with that excitement and show his support by commissioning his barber to create a portrait of Rangers forward Chris Kreider on the back of his head. As far as athlete haircut portraits go, the result is one of the more impressive ones I’ve ever seen.

Considering that the Rangers have now played 14-straight one-goal games in the playoffs (a new NHL record), I’m just impressed that he has any hair left to work with.
