In today’s recent findings of “Deflategate,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the NFL instructed the New England Patriots to suspend the two employees — Jim McNally and John Jastremski — who were presumed to be the perpetrators of deflating footballs prior to handing down its official punishment.

The punishment, which included a four-game suspension of quarterback Tom Brady, a $1 million fine and the loss of first and fourth round draft picks was issued on last Monday, five days after the findings of external investigation led by Ted Wells of whether or not the Patriots deflated footballs in last year’s AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts were released.

Although New England cooperated with the NFL in suspending the two employees prior to the punishment, they have fired back multiple times, including a hostile caps lock heavy takedown of the Wells Report, and changing their Twitter avatar to a picture of Brady’s jersey. However, Schefter is also reporting on Tuesday morning that Pats owner Robert Kraft and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell are on good terms.

Schefter expanded on the sighting, and he suggested that it could be the start of a water under the bridge-type resolution coming sooner rather than later.
