Steph Curry Spins Beno Udrih Around, Crosses Z-Bo, Then Drains The Three

So much for being rusty after having a week off. Steph Curry picked up right where he left off Sunday as his Golden State Warriors hosted the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 1 of their second-round series. And he’s taking full advantage of Mike Conley’s absence, who’s sitting his third consecutive game after undergoing surgery to repair multiple facial fractures he suffered after catching an inadvertent elbow from Blazers guard C.J. McCollum last weekend.

Curry proved once again that he is essentially unguardable, no matter how many defenders you throw at him. Above, he spun poor Beno Udrih all the way around before crossing over Zach Randolph and draining the open three. He was at it early in the first half with this sweet around-the-back pass out of the double team that ended with a Draymond Green three-pointer.

The Warriors beat the Grizzlies 101-86 to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Curry finished with 22 points, seven assists, and four steals and was 4-for-8 from downtown.
