Hey, fight-friends! After that weird Wednesday card, things are back to normal with fights on Friday and Saturday. It’s a solid line-up, too, so let’s delve into the particulars.

FRIDAY

Bellator 140

Bellator MMA is back with another solid card. The prelims start at 7 p.m. EST on Spike.com, and while there aren’t any notable names, the fights should be decent in their own right.

The main-card will be at 9 p.m. EST on Spike TV, and it’s pretty stacked, with every fight in the welterweight division. Paul “Semtex” Daley brings his big punching power to bear against Dennis Olson, while Michael “Venom” Page has laser-guided, pinpoint accuracy in his strikes as he takes on Rudy Bears. The main-event is a welterweight title fight as champ Douglas Lima defends against Andrey Koreshkov.

SATURDAY

UFC Fight Night 72

Hope you’ve got a strong pot of coffee brewing, because this event kicks off at 10 a.m. EST with a pair of Fight Pass prelims. Daniel Omielanczuk takes on Chris de la Rocha in a heavyweight clash, while Marcus Brimage meets Jimmie Rivera at bantamweight. The prelims roll on to Fox Sports 1 starting at 11 a.m. EST. Hans Stringer and Ilir Latifi will clash at light heavyweight, Paul Redmond takes on Rob Whiteford at featherweight, and Paddy Holohan faces Vaughan Lee in flyweight action.

The main-card stays on Fox Sports 1, starting at 1 p.m. EST. Leon Edwards faces Pawel Pawlak in welterweight action, there’s Joanne Calderwood facing Cortney Casey-Sanchez at strawweight, and Joseph Duffy fights Ivan Jorge at lightweight. In the co-main-event, Evan Dunham meets Ross Pearson at lightweight, while the main-event is a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Thales Leites. Should be a good card that will result in some nice day drinking.

Titan FC 34

Titan FC, a C-league promotion, is the newest organization that’s made a deal to stream their events on UFC Fight Pass. Their first offering, Titan FC 34, is super stacked, with four title fights on the main-card. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. EST, and before the big bouts happen, there are some notable names on the undercard, like Des Green, who takes on Vince Eazelle, and MMA legend, Jose “Pele” Landi-Jons, who fights Tyler Stinson. The title fights start with a flyweight contest between Tim Elliott and Iliarde Santos, two former UFC fighters. Then, it’s on to a bantamweight title fight, with undefeated Brett Johns facing Anthony Gutierrez. At featherweight, Kurt Holobaugh and Andre Harrison square off for the belt, and the lightweight title is on the line as Pat Healy faces Marcus Edwards in the main-event.
