You’ll Never Look At Urban Meyer The Same Way After Seeing Him As A Butter Sculpture

If you came up to me a half hour ago and told me to imagine the weirdest thing possible, odds are one of the first 10 things I would have said is “a sculpture of Ohio State coach Urban Meyer made entirely out of butter.” Apparently, someone decided to make this a reality, as a butter statue of the national title-winning coach will be unveiled at the Ohio State Fair. It will be flanked by three other statues – one of Brutus Buckeye, one of the College Football Playoff trophy, and one of an OSU helmet. If you’re wondering, the Meyer statue took 500 hours to complete and is made out of 2,000 pounds of churned dairy goodness.

According to a press release sent out by the American Dairy Association Mideast, via Cleveland.com, “The Ohio State Buckeyes carved out a spot in history after winning the first-ever College Football Playoffs in January, and now the team is getting even BUTTER. To celebrate the legen-dairy Buckeyes, sculptors created a life-sized replica of head coach Urban Meyer and mascot Brutus – made entirely out of butter.”

Does anyone else want popcorn, because I could really go for a tub of popcorn right now. With extra butter.
