This Florida skateboarder is extremely lucky to be alive after a recent skate sesh was violently halted by a collision with a moving car. As you can see in the footage above, the skater does a trick off a ledge and into the middle of the street, where he fails to notice an oncoming car that plows right into him and sends him flipping over the hood.
Miraculously, the skater pops up almost immediately and seems to only have a few scrapes and bruises to show for the scary incident, dusting himself off and resuming his life as if nothing happened. It was so surreal that it almost seems fake.
With his incredible luck, hopefully this dude will learn not to play in traffic. Or, you know, at least get one of your buddies to be a spotter so you don’t have to eat all your meals through a straw.
