The Buffalo Bills Are Trolling The Patriots With Air Pumps In Their Team Store

It is no secret that the Buffalo Bills are very excited to host and play the New England Patriots this weekend. Bills players and Rex Ryan, the new Buffalo coach who has quite a history with the Patriots, have provided some bulletin board material with colorful statements about the defending Super Bowl champions.

Not one to leave any jabs on the table, even the Bills pro shop is getting in on the trash talk prior to Sunday’s match-up. This week, they’re featuring a new item on display at the front and center of the store. That item? Air pumps.

This, obviously, appears to be a subtle bit of trolling in the wake of the ridiculous Deflategate saga that ruled NFL headlines for much of this year. Clearly, the Bills just want to make sure the Patriots have no excuse for their balls being under-inflated as they head into Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Even Buffalo’s local news stations are getting in on that action, too.

Give props to Buffalo’s pro shop for keeping it fun and loose, but after the exhausting and incessant Deflategate coverage we all had to endure this offseason, all of these jokes are starting to get very tired and lame.

But, hey, maybe this means the Patriots will put socks on display front and center when the Bills head into Foxboro later this year.
