Richard Sherman took to Twitter following Saturday’s game against the San Diego Chargers, asked his followers to mash-up Tyler Lockett’s 67-yard punt return to Mario Kart music. Not more than an hour later, “Who Is Jose Rivera” came through with this wonderful video.

The Seahawks traded a third, fourth, fifth and sixth-round draft pick to move up and select Lockett in the third round. Needless to say they are quite fond of his talents, particularly his speed. At the combine, Lockett ran a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash and a 4.07 in the shuttle. He returned a kickoff 103-yard in his first NFL appearance, a preseason game against the Broncos.

He needs some work as a receiver but it appears he’ll make an impact right away as a return specialist, something the Seahawks were in desperate need of following the departure of Golden Tate two years ago. As a senior at Kansas State, Locket led the NCAA in punt return average and finished his career with six special-teams touchdowns.
