Evander Holyfield’s Son Used Actual Bulldog Puppies To Commit To Georgia

College football season got underway this week, but the best highlight so far may have come OFF the field.

On Friday morning, Elijah Holyfield, son of former heavyweight champion boxer Evander Holyfield, held a press conference to announce where he would be playing college football next season. The Woodward Academy (Atlanta, GA) standout is ranked fifth in the nation for Class of 2016 running backs and had his finalists narrowed down to Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama.

When he brought out two bulldog puppies at his presser, it became clear who he was choosing. The hat only confirmed it.

We’ve witnessed plenty of creative ways to announce a college commitment, but this one might be the cutest. Especially because one of the puppies got totally spooked by the crowd’s roar and tried to run away. It’s pretty much science that puppies make everything better, so Georgia should be pumped they’re getting a player so smart.
