A Fan Rushed The Field And Got Wrecked At The Tennessee-Bowling Green Game

For reasons beyond anyone’s comprehension, running onto the field at college football games – or, really, any sporting event – is still a thing in the year of our Lord two thousand and fifteen. But every week, some person is going to feel the need to sprint onto a field of play and make themself look like a jerk, and the only positive that comes from it is that they might just get leveled by someone.

That happened on Saturday during Tennessee’s game against Bowling Green. A Vols fan tried sprinting onto the field at Neyland Stadium, at which point some security guard decided to take him out. The kid got wrecked.

The security guard may have been a bit over-aggressive, but if we’re being 100 percent honest, getting the chance to do a modified version Finn Bálor’s Sling Blade seems like a real good time. Also, get a load of the dude’s face. There was legitimate malice behind this hit:

There were plenty of big hits between the game between the Vols and the Falcons, but this was the best of the bunch. As for the game, Tennessee ended up winning the high-scoring affair pretty comfortably, 59-30.
