A-Rod Accidentally Destroyed A TV On His ‘FOX NFL Sunday’ Debut

It was a surprising bounce back season for Alex Rodriguez this year, as A-Rod hit over 30 home runs and knocked in more than 80 RBIs for the Yankees.

However, Rodriguez didn’t play defense all that much, playing only six times in the field in 2015 and mostly DH’ing. Because of that, his arm is a little rusty as he showed while making a guest appearance on “Fox NFL Sunday.”

A-Rod was there to promote his new role as an analyst for FOX during the remainder of the MLB postseason and, for whatever reason, the “FOX NFL Sunday” producers thought it would be a good idea to have A-Rod try to throw a ball to Jay Glazer while he was standing in front of a bunch of TVs.

As you can see, it didn’t exactly go as planned. A-Rod, who was recruited to the University of Miami to play quarterback, put a little too much mustard on it and totally broke the screen, sending Terry Bradshaw into a frenzy in the process.

In A-Rod’s defense, Glazer didn’t exactly make much of an athletic effort to try and snatch it, and if they had chosen, say, Randy Moss to catch it instead, he probably would have been off the hook.
