Will The Dodgers Become A Victim Of The Sinister ‘Fuller House’ Curse?

We can officially take Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brett Anderson off the list of people who think the Full House revival for Netflix is a good idea. Some of the actresses from Fuller House were in attendance at last night’s San Francisco Giants home game against their division champ rivals, and the purpose of the Tanner clan visit was for both business and pleasure. Jodie Sweetin got to take the field as Stephanie Tanner to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and do a little flirting with Hunter Pence, but in her heart she was there to quietly cheer on her beloved Dodgers. However, Anderson didn’t see it as all fun and games, because he came back out and gave up two runs in the bottom of the 7th after an otherwise gem of a performance.

The Dodgers hung on to get Anderson’s 10th win of the season, but what the team might want to consider is the possibility that this was just the beginning of one of baseball’s newest and potentially most powerful curses. From the positive energy of a squirrel to the downright devastating evil of a goat, America’s pastime has proven to be quite magical over the years, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility (and sorcery) that as the Dodgers head into the postseason, the baseball gods could be answering the prayers of the rest of the National League with “You got it, dudes.”

For more on the Tanner Jinx, anchors Tom Storey and Briana Lane weigh in on today’s episode of The Desk.
