Athletes usually do a great job with Halloween costumes. For proof, look at how a group of Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks players decided to dress up this year. The highlights are Dirk Nowitzki dressed like Lurch from The Addams Family, Mitch McGary dressed like a character from Dodgeball, Steven Adams dressed like Heath Ledger’s version of The Joker, and Russell Westbrook dressed like Steven Adams. Still, all of the costumes are great, mostly because when athletes dress up for Halloween, they go all out.
The latest example of this comes from Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis. According to a post on his Instagram account, Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly decided that he wanted to dress up like Cam Newton for Halloween. From head to toe, Kuechly nailed this outfit, with the highlights being his pair of Beats headphones, the orange sleeve down his right arm, the cut off red practice jersey, and the pair of Under Armour sneakers.
Based on Davis’ picture, Newton seems like he really liked it. This isn’t quite as good as when Newton decided to dress up like the tooth fairy for Halloween in college, but Kuechly still did an excellent job with this one.
