Odell Beckham Jr. Got Emotional In His Postgame Interview Following The Giants’ Comeback Win

The New York Giants were pretty close to dropping back under .500 in their Sunday night contest with the San Francisco 49ers, but thanks to a late-game drive by Eli Manning and a game-winning touchdown catch by Larry Donnell, New York escaped with a 30-27 victory.

Odell Beckham Jr. had another monster game as he grabbed seven balls for 121 receiving yards to go with a touchdown. However, Beckham Jr. injured himself while celebrating his score and was limited for the rest of the game.

If the Giants had lost, you can bet Beckham Jr. would have got some major heat from the New York media, but he was let off the hook thanks to Manning and Donnell’s late-game heroics. The emotion of not having to hear dozens of people call in to Mike Francesa and complain about him was too much to overcome for Beckham Jr., as he fought back tears in a postgame interview with NBC’s Michele Tafoya.

It was a big win for the Giants, who have now won three straight after an 0-2 start, and thanks to their horrible division, a 3-2 record is now good enough for sole possession of first place with the Eagles, Cowboys, and Redskins all a game behind.

If Beckham Jr. was crying after a win over the 49ers, I can only imagine how he’ll react should New York beat their division rivals Philadelphia next Monday night.
