An Oregon WR Live Tweeted His Teammates Being Rescued By Firemen From A Stuck Elevator

It hasn’t been a great start to the season for Oregon. They’ve split their first four games and lost in embarrassing fashion last week to Utah. To make matters worse, as the Ducks were prepping for Saturday’s game against Colorado, over a dozen Oregon players got trapped in a hotel elevator.

Thankfully, Ducks wideout Devon Allen, who was not in the elevator himself, documented the entire ordeal on Twitter with his “Trapped In An Elevator Chronicles.” It appears as though all of the Oregon players made it out okay, including the 300-plus pound lineman who were too big for the ladder (they really should make sturdier ladders for these kinds of situations), and they all looked to be in good spirits despite being a dozen college athletes who were forced to cram together in an elevator together for at least 20 minutes.

If you’re wondering why Allen labeled all of his tweets from the ordeal with “chapter 2” it’s because this is not the first time Allen has tweeted about being stuck in an elevator, as he himself went through a similar experience back in May.

Maybe Oregon should just take the stairs from now on.
