Another day, another wild story about the Miami Dolphins. Hard to keep up with their shenanigans at this point. On Monday, head coach Joe Philbin was fired following a brutal 1-3 start to the season. Several sources have said that the firing should have happened weeks ago, adding that things have been dicey at practice for quite some time.

The National Football Post followed up with this crazy story about QB Ryan Tannehill.

On Saturday during practice, Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”

Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback.

Well hot damn, Tannehill sounds like a pleasant human being. Looks like Ndamukong Suh’s showing him the ropes.

Also, and in fairness to Tannehill, this is a report from a single website. It’s possible there’s exaggeration and tall-tales here. But given the amount of talking that’s being done by people in the organization, this is probably close to the truth.

Add to that the multiple stories about the aforementioned Ndamukong Suh — the shoe incident and the freelancing in games — and it’s a wonder how Philbin captained the ship for so long.
