A Georgia Player Was Injured By A Coach Slapping His Helmet

Georgia assistant coach Mike Ekeler was pretty pumped up after a big play by the Bulldogs defense against Auburn, but he chose to celebrate it in the worst possible way.

Ekeler was jumping around on the sidelines when he slapped cornerback Rico McGraw on the helmet a little too hard and snapped McGraw’s head back. While there’s no word as of yet exactly what the injury is, it sure looks like he may have gotten a concussion.

Maybe tone it down about 100 notches next time, Mike.
