There is a wedding going on in the tailgate area at Bama right now. Got to hang with the officiant. pic.twitter.com/H22GASfDLU

Alabama fans are some of the most passionate in all of college football. Two Crimson Tide fans decided that the only thing they loved more than Alabama is one another, so they got married, which is nice. However, their preferred date fell on the day that the Tide hosted Tennessee in Tuscaloosa, and because people hate weddings that take them away from football games in the fall, the pair decided to get hitched at a tailgate at the game.
This ended up being a good idea, as the turnout for the wedding was pretty good.

Nobody knows if all of those people were invited or if they’re just random fans who went “oh nice, there’s a wedding going on,” but still, it’s touching that a lot of people attended. Here’s a picture of the ceremony, which happened under a tailgating tent:

There are a lot of great things going on in this picture, but the best part is the young girl to the left of the bride who’s wearing a Bear Bryant fedora.
Ultimately all that matters is that the newlyweds are happy, and by the looks on the bride’s face, they sure seem like they are.
Congrats to Chip and Carrie. pic.twitter.com/vD44sL4Kwe
