As someone who spends most of his day checking and double-checking hyperlinks, out of fear that I’ll accidentally link to something I didn’t mean to (I don’t need you guys to know that I’m an active commenter on the Work It! subreddit), I can sympathize with Gerry Hamilton. He’s a college football analyst for ESPN, who in a tweet about something that isn’t porn, mistakenly linked to something that is porn, specifically the Krystal Boyd-starring “fuck yea!!!”
It’s an understandable oops. When you’re an analyst who scouts tight ends, concerns himself with gap penetration, and instructs others to “pound the hole,” who knows? Maybe Hamilton directed the porno, and this is his attempt at #viral marketing. Well played, sir. Well played.
