And Now for Some Sensible Firings

So Brian Billick fired offensive coordinator Jim Fassel today. Apparently Fassel was unhappy with how little control he had over the offense, and Billick felt the same way. No doubt that's how Kyle Boller felt the last couple of years, as well. Seems like a sensible enough thing to do, since we all know Brian Billick is an offensive mastermind.

Even better, Dennis Green fired Cardinals' offensive coordinator Keith Rowen, replacing him with quarterbacks coach Mike Kruczek.

"I've known Keith for a long time. I have the utmost respect for him," Green said. "We are not scoring enough points."

Kruczek becomes Green's third offensive coordinator in the coach's 2 1/2 seasons in Arizona.

Yes, yes. I think I see the problem now. It's these fucking offensive coordinators that keep blowing games. Keith Rowen probably fucked up the 1998 NFC Championship for the 15-1 Vikings in the Metrodome, too.

Cardinals fans: You can get the rights to for $250. But act fast — that price is only gonna go up. Or you can invest in a whole lot of heavy, blunt objects, which are a lot cheaper. I'm not saying you should go out and beat him to death, but… there isn't a jury in the world that will convict that kind of righteous mob vigilantism.
