Johnny Oduya has had a bit of a rough week.

The Stars defenseman was undressed late last week by Jets rookie Joel Armia and, on Monday, he then fell victim to a sweet goal by Red Wings rookie Andreas Athanasiou.

Athanasiou doubled his goal output on the season by scoring twice against Dallas on Monday night, and his second goal was a thing of beauty. The 21-year-old showcased his blazing speed and great hands when he picked up a loose puck and took a full head of steam into the offensive zone, blowing by Oduya with a nifty move before shelving an impressive backhander into the top of the net.

Dallas netminder Antti Niemi may not have been too familiar with Athanasiou’s skill set, as he appeared to be very caught off-guard and helpless as he was torched by the rookie.

As for Oduya, he’s probably sick of them damn kids by now.
