Antonio Brown Has An Interesting Side Dish For Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Everyone does Thanksgiving a little bit differently. Baked turkey. Turducken. Hell, I didn’t know one could deep fry a turkey until four or five years ago. Then again, how could I have been so clueless? This is America and you can pretty much deep fry anything you want.

Some people even do Cthuken, which is a turkey stuffed with an octopus and served with crab legs and also looks like something out of “The Thing.”

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has an idea that’s a little less intense, but different all the same:  mix macaroni & cheese and sweet potato pie.

As someone who hasn’t tried this, it would be wrong to immediately assume it’s terrible. That said, this the Internet, where people immediately assume everything is terrible. You see, side dishes are what make Thanksgiving. They must be protected. You don’t see people recklessly mixing mashed potatoes with cranberry sauce. Or maybe you do, and you must exile them from your family.

Now, if you want to mess with something, mess with the turkey. No one really cares about the turkey. They say they do, but they don’t. It’s overrated as a cornerstone of the dinner. Sure, you need it for turkey sandwiches and soup later, but why does it get the center part of the table? Is it because it’s the only food someone shoved their entire fist into?

Anyway, if the opportunity presents itself Thursday, try mixing mac & cheese with sweet potato pie and get back to us.
