In case you can’t tell what’s going on here, that’s U.S. soccer star and Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey having his way with a ref’s notebook, ripping it up in spectacular fashion. Shockingly he was given a red card for his actions. Because, you know, you can’t do that.
Dempsey was upset after teammate Michael Arizi got sent off for a tackle, leaving the Sounders with eight players on the field. They went on to lose to the Portland Timbers, 3-1.
