Conor McGregor To UFC Champ Jose Aldo: ‘I’m His Daddy. Call Me Jose, Sr.’

UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo and rising star “Notorious” Conor McGregor are scheduled to face each other in July at UFC 189. To keep the flames stoked, the pair have been on a world tour, featuring multiple press appearances. They recently sat down on Fox Sports Live, and things escalated quickly.

McGregor said that Aldo broke during their stare down in Rio and proclaims that he’s Jose’s “daddy,” calling himself Jose, Sr. and telling Aldo to “sit on his lap.”

Jose is at a disadvantage, having to use a translator and the fact that Conor won’t shut up to get a word in edgewise, but McGregor apparently reminds the champion of Scooby-Doo. Jose also said that McGregor raised himself by watching Aldo’s fights.

It’s still months away, but Aldo vs. McGregor is shaping up to be an awesome fight. UFC 189 will be live from Las Vegas on July 11.
