Conor McGregor Shows Off Some Of His New Skills And Nearly Kicks Conan’s Head Off

Conor McGregor, despite his antics and mystical precognitions on fight results, is just a man. He is a fierce warrior, well trained in the various arts of how to best smash another human into unconsciousness, but he’s still just a man. He does get nervous from time to time. The proof that the Irishman is a mere mortal came from his lips in an interview with Colin Cowherd (h/t MMAFighting).

“There are other things that might make me nervous. Things like doing the Conan O’Brien Show. I might get a little more nervous for these unusual things than I would walking out to the Octagon. Walking out to Octagon and stepping into a cage is something I literally do every single day of my life. I step foot inside an Octagon and train and compete.”

And yet, Conor McGregor didn’t seem too nervous on Conan. Subdued, maybe, but certainly not nervous. Especially when Conan threw multiple strikes at Conor’s defenseless head as he sat there, a guest on Conan’s own show. This lead to Conor showing off a new strike in his arsenal, a capoeira kick that he hopes will put out Nate Diaz’s lights when they fight at UFC 196.

Conor looks loose, like he did before the Jose Aldo fight, and we all remember how that turned out. He probably threw this kick at half speed and it was still fast.
